I thought it'd be nice to just put a little off topic discussion that is for people saying random stuff about their day!
As for me: I got a huge package from my dad! It had a really nice winter coat and slippers. Plus, all my Japanese textbooks. He also got some art supplies for my fiance, because he really likes to draw. There was also candy! Lots of candy. I ate too much already...

Today's been a lazy day full of dying on WoW (I need to stop changing the action bar buttons around so much), feeding baby birds, and reading~~ Although, some guy from Telstra did call, and then he lied to my dad about what I told him and ugh. All I did was say I had to check if I could give out the number before I gave it to him, damn.
Tomorrow I'm going to get my hair dyed though, so that'll be boring fun.

I like the idea of this thread! Today, I finished up some birthday art for my friend, and then I made some graphics and did some Gaiwa site-work! I know it sounds really boring and uninteresting, but it was really productive so I felt really happy after finishing everything! And now I'm going to play World of Warcraft after replying to a few threads! If anyone wants to see the artwork...?

My day has been well! I've gotten this whole week off since most of my high school is in New York for a high school trip. The ones who are not going are still supposed to be at school but no one's following that rule. Haha!

Today, I cracked open my Japanese books for the first time in a year. I'm done with the first chapter in the Genki book, and I already need a break. There's so much I forgot, but I'm proud with how much I did remember. My speaking ability has gone back to the where I was before I took my classes. I kept forgetting to add desu or ka. The book kind of annoys me a little bit, because it doesn't teach much practical stuff. Sure, I can have a conversation about college life, but I'm not a student at the moment. So, that doesn't help much.
I want to start replacing some of the college vocabulary with real life vocabulary. That way, when it gets to the point where I talk about my day, I can talk about going to the doctor's or taking care of my baby (once he or she is born).

I absolutely LOVE your hair Jade! I'm sorry to hear about the fire. Hope you, your family, and friends are ok. Thank you! Fortunately none of my friends/family are in the very bad parts, and the ones that are closer to the fires than I am are staying safely inside. There's a warning for twenty minutes away from my place, hopefully it doesn't get any worse. The wind's not as bad today so that should help with stopping them.

I absolutely LOVE your hair Jade! I'm sorry to hear about the fire. Hope you, your family, and friends are ok. I'm glad to hear that. I've never experienced anything like that where I live(Ontario, Canada) so I wouldn't really know what it's like. All I've really experienced are some bad snow and ice storms. What caused the fire?

What caused the fire? Lightning, the really hot and dry weather, some other factors, and some of the other ones were caused by some jerks who thought lighting more fires while the firefighters were already stretched thin would be fun. Here's what the fire warnings for my state look like currently. Blue is advice, yellow is watch and act, and red is emergency. There's quite a lot less yellows and reds than there was yesterday, thankfully.

Wow, some people are just idiots. Jerks like that are one of the things that makes me dislike our generation. It's like they don't know how to use their brain sometimes. I'm glad there's a lot less yellow and reds then there was before.
