Grr.. JP has ONE late shift per week. Only when he's on a late and I'm off work can I get into gaiwa chat or Skype to practice Japanese, which happens twice a month on average, but can never happen at all some months, as both of our shifts change from week to week. So I was all excited to finally get some practice tonight. So what happens? A friend of mine wants to catch up with me. I'm the one who said 'friends must come before Japanese', so I guess I can't pretend to have other plans. Tomorrow night, I really do have other plans (niece coming over to play the dancing game with JP and I), so it's really now or never..
Must...stay...positive... ^^

Today I met Road Kamelot. She smiled. I'm in love.

Today I heard that an online friend passed away. I always wondered what would happen when someone you know through a forum or whatever dies.. how would it feel? You touch so many lives online, some in passing, some with whom you form deeper bonds. Yet most of these people you'll never meet face to face. I knew that statistically, it would happen eventually. We all go sooner or later after all. I wasn't particularly close to him, but I liked him. I enjoyed his posts and respected his opinions. He had a sweet nature too.
It feels wrong to want to cry for him, and yet... someone died today. Someone I knew and thought I'd hear from again, slipped off into the next world, if there is one.. what a sorrowful feeling.
