I'll take 18 down.. although I could only go off the gardening clue. I can't see one of the kanji clearly enough in the second part (the 'larger' version of the clues is weirdly smaller on this PC, so I have to go off the main image).
'日本では十五後月見に[ ]られることが多い' Can anyone with a better monitor please tell me what this character is? It's driving me nuts.
Anyway, the answer is 'awn'
Never mind.. I got so frustrated about what they do with the grass that I looked up 月見 on wiki. Eventually, it has this line: 現代では、月が見える場所などに、薄(すすき)を飾って月見団子・里芋・枝豆・栗などを盛り、御酒を供えて月を眺める(お月見料理)。
So the kanji I couldn't see is 飾. That's a weight off! ^^

I put buy for 5 down. I tried to do 18 down, but couldn't find the name for those bits of grass. I added in a new crossword. I

A new one? This has opened on the current page so I'll scroll back after I write this.
The grass thing threw me too at first because I the way it was worded made it sound like awn was a species or variety of plant. It's actually the little tufts that grow on the seed heads of various varieties of grass. Maybe the people designing the crossword found the word online or in a book and just guessed the meaning from the illustrations.

I'm not sure if it's right, but pharmacy fits in 1 down.

最近の皆、忙しそうね。なんか寂しい。
If everyone is unsure whether boots and superdrug count as chains of pharmacy, maybe we could start somewhere else? If it IS pharmacy though, I think I have 8 across (frequently used in western cuisine; 'herb') and 13 across (the Japanese abbreviate remote control with the letters 'RC'). But then 1 across is a stinger in that case.
Oh.. 用を足す is a euphemism.. I get it now. Haha ^^ So erm, yeah. It's pharmacy, I swear it! ^^
Edited: I changed the wording because I just re-read what I wrote and it sounded kinda aggressive if you read it as though I wasn't including myself. Sorry about that guys. ''(_ _)''

Oh and sorry for taking 2 at once.. I just wanted to reassure everyone that it appears to fit. At least I'm holding in 1 across... lol

I put matt for 16 across. That's the only hollywood damon I'm aware of.

I put matt for 16 across. That's the only hollywood damon I'm aware of. Yeah, that MUST be right. Nice one. (shall we just put 1 across too? Or do I have to wait my turn and say it?)

Ah, good point. I was thinking of Little Ben rather than Big Ben (another little Jemma and JP language joke for you there: 小便 vs 大便). They both fit though. So let's take 2 down just to be sure.
The domain suffix for Estonia is 'EE'

I think 14 down must be 'canoe'.
'名称' threw me a little, because I thought that meant a given name. Like the name of a new gaming console, car or franchise. I guess it must be more like a version of '名前' especially for non living things.

I think there's been a spelling error on 9 down. My English wasn't good enough to know this without looking up the conjugation (third person of the verb 'to batik'), but it looks like it should be 'he/she/it batiks'. I think they want it spelt battiks maybe, but won't know for sure until we get 15 across. I'll go ask about it in the drama thread.

I'm going to guess aar for 6 down. The abbreviation of against all risks, unless it's "all". I can't come up with anything else.
あらゆる危険に対して、オールリスク担保、全危険負担◆【略】AAR

I think that sounds right. We'll know for sure when we get 11 across. I'll take 3 down first though. This took me some time. I think the answer must be ERP though. I've never heard of it, but when I looked up 企業資源計画 (I had to use wiki as non of my go to Japanese/English dictionaries had it). I got Enterprise Resource Planning. So I guess that's it. The fact that even as a native speaker I'm frequently having to use the Internet to look up the answers, really shows how difficult this would be for a learner of English.
