Can You Hear my Heart? and Lie to Me are AMAZING! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) It's hard to chose a favorite Korean drama myself but if I had to chose it would either be Gu Family Book, Faith, or School 2013. I'm also a big fan of B1A4. Gongchan is my favorite. Gotta love those adorable eyes! Hahaha! I'd probably pass out if I ever saw Big Bang! They are my all time FAVORITE Korean pop band! There's also this K-Pop artist from Toronto, which is about an hour away from me. He's really popular right now and his name is Henry Lau. My friend is actually friends with him.

Recommending another drama because I just started it and all the main characters are female and I love dramas with female leads~~♥ LIMITThe protagonist is a girl named ‘Konno Mizuki’, a typical senior high school girl who is good at studying, knows much about fashion and is good at reading the situation. She is also fortunate to belong to the cool clique of her class called the “Sakura Group”. One day the class is on their way to a field trip, when suddenly their bus falls of a cliff in the mountains. Only five girls survive the accident. They are injured, lost in the mountains and no one is coming for their rescue anytime soon. Pushed to their limits, the girls are forced to switch into survival mode and to lay bare their innermost feelings. You can get the Japanese RAW here (torrent), and the Japanese subtitles (Sorry, I've kinda stopped trying to find Eng subs for anything anymore, so I can only offer the Japanese ones) here (DDL). Edit: Found English subs here (DDL).

日本人の知らない日本語 Nihonjin no Shiranai NihongoKano Haruko (Naka Riisa) is a charismatic shop assistant who has such excellent fashion sense that she has been featured in fashion magazines. However, she is unable to give up her dream of being a high school teacher. Haruko is asked by her former teacher to teach Japanese to foreigners for three months on the understanding that he would introduce her for the high school's Japanese language teaching position. And so, she becomes a trainee teacher at a Japanese language school where she coaches nine foreign students with strong personalities, including an Italian anime enthusiast and a Swede who is in love with ninjas, according to her own convictions, while setting her sights on becoming a high school teacher. A drama about teaching Japanese to a bunch of gaijins. A pretty good way to learn. It's on youtube and has Japanese(and chinese) subtitles. link

I wouldn't actually call this a drama by any stretch, but it's not a movie and there was no where else to put this, so I'm using a little poetic license here. I mainly watch TV aimed at kids or foreigners as I find them easier to follow, and because NHK just happens to be showing its educational shows during my work hours ^^ My favourite show at the minute is called お伝と伝じろう (Otsuta to Tenjirou). This is a weird head trip of a show aimed at teaching kids good communication skills. It's very silly, but also actually has taught me some useful communication strategies. Depending on my general mental state, I can sometimes struggle to keep a conversation flowing and awkward silences are my nemesis. This show has genuinely taught me some cool tips to help me keep those silences at bay! So here's my synopsis, as it were... お伝と伝じろう
Satoru, a Harry Potter obsessed school kid who looks every bit like a Japanese Harry Potter, is surprised one day when the new exchange student from France joins his class and takes up the seat next to him. This new kid, 'Tenjirou' is a fully grown racial stereotype complete with facial hair, yet no one seems to think it's weird. In every lesson Satoru gets confused and at those times, Tenjirou, in the creepiest way possible, turns to him and speaks to him in his head. The next thing Satoru knows, he is being dragged into Tenjirou's mind, where everything is a kind of bohemian/berlesque/Yellow Submarine style world. A mute character, Otsuta, lives in Tenjirou's mind and assists him in explaining things to Satoru. ![](http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BHSQoUUCAAAhAnE.jpg) The visuals, the music, the creepiness of it all, just comes together to create an educational masterpiece. I LOVE it!

The series is for kokugo class, so mainly things for carrying out discussions as well as just general good manners.
The first term was things like.. making a good jikoshoukai, listening to people properly, how to give your opinion, keeping a conversation going, and so on.
Then in the second term, it's things like how to write a haiku, making a presentation, putting together a good argument and things like that. It's currently in the middle of the second term (I think). This term, all 3 kids (the class is just Tenjirou, Satoru and two others), go into Tenjirou's head.
It's so much fun. Tenjirou's catchphrase is.. Tsutawa-re-re-re.. and there's even a cool dance and themesong.. ^^

Jembru Oh, that stuff sounds useful. I should check it out! I also have a show recommendation which isn't a drama, but is pretty good. Tamori No Japonica Logos (タモリのジャポニカロゴス) finished airing a while ago, but you can find videos of it online, and it's a really fun tv show for learning about aspects of Japanese that Japanese people don't know, perfect for people who like language trivia.

I just realised the new drama season has started! I haven't watched much drama recently because life is quite hectic but I reckon I should be able to fit in one episode per week! I love police drama so I've gone for S - 最後の警官 which seems to be a mix of light-hearted comedy and serious SWAT team action ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) What is everyone else watching at the moment?
