Hi
I'm looking at Manga and don't really know where to start!
Can anyone point me to any links or sites where I could get Manga from?
I'm a guy so I guess my interests would be stereotypical, action, horror etc.
Thanks
Alan

Are you looking for English translated manga or Japanese manga? If you're after Japanese manga, I put a collection of links in the Studying Using Manga article on the homepage. If you're after English translated manga you can try websites like MangaFox, MangaHere, GoodManga, and MangaReader if you want to read them online. Or you could try online shopping sites like eBay/Amazon if you want to buy them. Umm, for some manga aimed at guys, you could try: Reborn!, D. Gray-Man, Yankee-kun and Megane-chan, Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei, Ranma 1/2, Kuroko no Basuke, and Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin).

Thanks Jade I have bought a kind of "idiots guide to Manga" which I'm hoping might help. I've also ordered this from Amazon

No prob♥
Ooh, that sounds really interesting. I'm going to have to put that on my list to hunt down sometime. Let me know what you think of it and if it's worth buying once you've read it?

I'll add Monster, Death Note, 20th Century Boys, Ghost in the Shell, and Battle Royale (manga) to the list of recommendations.

naitorii Yeah, it was originally a novel, but I haven't read the novel. The manga goes into more detail when it comes to the characters' pasts, which makes the scenes where they are ultimately killed off better. If I remember, the novel author even thought the manga version was closer to what he had in mind when he wrote the novel, compared to the movie version.

Heads up if anyone has an account on the Japanese Kindle Store: they've got a heap of manga volumes for free atm. They're mostly first volumes, some are 1-3, and they're also offering volumes 1 and 7 of Tokyo Ghoul for free.
