YES! サカナクション! I really like their ミュージック song, but that may be because it was the first one of theirs that I'd heard. I've got nothing similar to recommend though

My first and favorite artist is Aya Kamiki! She's since went indie and does more punk rock like she wanted to, but I really prefer stronger vocals!
Memories <3

Your mentioning stronger vocals reminded me of a song I LOVED when I was in Japan. None of the karaoke boxes here in Newcastle have this song though, so these days I tend to sing Kiroro's 'Mirai e' on a loop ^^ I'm really starting to hate that song. Anyway, I'm never sure if I should call this 'powerful' vocals are not, but the contrast when she bursts into the chorus just gets the hairs standing on the back of my neck. What an unusual, and impressive singing style.. and so much emotion.

Princess Ooh, Aya Kamiki takes me back! I used to listen to Kimi Sarishi Yuuwaku on loop a while back. She has a really great voice! Jembru I really like Kokia's voice too! I listen to 人間ってそんなものね sometimes when I need a little cheering up, and it always works. ^-^
